Wrap up today... for North America

Let us wrap up the two North American games today. Nope we did not get up at three AM and only seen some short clips from the US game against Korea, so we do not dare to say more than...
The scoring was strange 2-0, 10-0, 0-2... so beside of the second period - this must have been a fairly even game? We thought the US would win this but not with such a big margin... We have seen how the Korean goalie flapped his body in desperation a few times - and we also saw one of the most beautiful goals ever from a US squad.
Good work team USA.

For tomorrow team USA might have a walk in the park against Japan.

Canada's game we saw in full. We thought Australia would be stronger - but to beat Russia with a big upset - the day before - does not make easy to beat Team Canada - and Canada wanted revanch from their loss the previous day. Also here the numbers ran away a bit 7-1 to Canada. Both the scoring and the penalties hints in the direction the Australia maybe was the slightly more tired team?
We thought both teams tried to shot a bit too often and early - before they had the best opportunities and we also saw some daring dribbling and other brave moves by mainly the defenders... But otherwise it was cool to see this game. At this time we could not find a game wrap up...

Canada should be able to beat Russia tomorrow - but three days straight with top notch Floorball - full games 3x20 is only for the toughest.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
