Tournament Dynamics... & 3 urgent fixes

Either a bunch of teams has become much better....
No no no - we do not try to explain our own poor performance on IFF's guessing app.
But it is a reality - several games we thought would have clear underdog are not showing underdogs but these teams that respond very well to the pressure.

Yes the teams are probably better and we have a higher lowest level.
So we have another explanation too. We think the new tourney format that matches teams of similar strengths in different groups works in ways that makes wonders. First overall all games becomes much more even.
Then, and here is our new theory, after being through a few more games at your own level two things happens - as you are playing for the later stage of the tourney...
First, suddenly the tourney becomes more cup shaped with new dynamics and being pitched at a team that is much stronger will make the adrenaline rush a little bit more. Then it is true that after 3-4 straight top level national games in a rather short amount of time (compare with other though sports) - at this point teams are doubtlessly affected of some exhaustion, and that should most likely take down all teams top performance levels a few percent from the very best level - we think.
If this is true maybe it is also easier for uneven teams to play a bit more even? We do not know?

But the new playing system in the WFC is a true smash hit... This was a very clever move IFF!

What to urgently fix is on the marketing side of this WFC r 3 things:
- We think the LOC finally entered twitter yesterday - and if that is true - well better late then never.
- Floorball can not transmit Youtube games without an English commentary - to use some English we wish we will see some accountability in this matter ;-D (Accountability is not a word you easily translate to Swedish or Finnish)
- The sponsors must demand to be featured in these Youtube streams, before the games, after the games and in the intermissions too - if not doing interviews? Everything else is not good enough - hey, why not have a sponsor do the commentary too - with the rights to plug their own product/services?

Come on now Asics, Honda or Gerflor - you work on the global market right ;-)

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
