Tampa Bay Lightning Defense Star in full swing with Floorball over the summer

Tampa Bay Lightning Defense man Radko Gudas participated this summer at the Czech Floorball Rookie Camp.

Radko is a well know Floorball and Hockey player in the Czech Republic. He even played in the National Czech School Floorball Championships a few years back - but his team lost the final game. So this is another Professional Ice Hockey of the highest ranks that for sure knows his Floorball, inside out.
In his early years he played and went to school together with some guys from Tatran Stresovice... - a top Czech Floorball team.

The Rookie Floorball Camp is for kids in the Czech republic and Radko Gudas role at this camp was to aid instructors with inspiration and help the camp as an extra coach. Radko also told the kids:
"You can only live on your talent until you are 17-18 years old after that you must engage in serious training and do not ever give in"

What we at Floorballcentral thinks?
Maybe some American Hockey Kids should consider Floorball camps too?

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
