Conversations with Phil Carlson Part Two

Yup this is part two in our installment of conversations with Phil Carlson. One of the men that invented the first banana shaped plastic stick. Later to be known as a Floorball, Innebandy, Salibandy or Unihoc Stick. His cousin Clinton V. Carlson invented the ball all Floorball players (and Pickleball) use. Both worked at Cosom in Minneapolis.

This is raw materiel and we r sorry about the sound quality - but this is authentic stuff.

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
