Usa Hockey's own Magazine need a flashlight?

Here at we think it is fully hilarious that USA Hockey's own developmental model - the ADM not explicitly include or points out Floorball as a particular good activity for hockey players.
This in particular since - what we here see as the most efficient support sport - for....well, Ice Hockey - was first invented in Minneapolis. It is like someone took out American or Minnesota from the development model and invented another homemade story instead? We do not know? How can you forget your own history?
Well, maybe we can recommend a visit to the Minnesota Historical society and a search on the word Cosom? A brand new Global Hockey sporty was born in Minneapolis but some folks still need a ka-boom big flashlight to figure this out...
One would think that the main news resource for USA Hockey members - the magazine also known under the name Usa Hockey would be progressive and dynamic enough to figure these things out...but so far they have not shown too much spirit at all their departments of investigating journalism as it comes to the Floorball subject.  Yes we have seen Floorball advertising in that magazine too - but a larger editorial text... ha what can you expect?
So we think and assume they will continue in the same direction... and that is good since that leaves the field open for us to post these kind of blog posts here - that normally gets soo much good attention for this blog. So thank you guys and gals for being as you are and fueling traffic to this blog - and please leave that flashlight where it is - do not turn it on please.

This thing turns in particular funny as we see newswires like these shooting out from Canada... let us quote the came yesterday...

"What do Marian Gaborik's NHL postseason leading 8 goals have to do with Maple Leafs' great Borje Salming and Hockey Canada's drive to bring back hockey to Canadian elementary schools?"

U need a link too?

Let us now hope that USA Hockey does not discover this - let us hope that Canada is to build Floorball at a high pace (they do) and that Canada will take the full honor for being boldly re-introducing hockey to their own schools.. Let them make their own mark in history and if USA Hockey does not find the flashlight - the US initial Floorball history from 1964 will remain the only story ever told south of the border...

The most interesting part of any kind of marketing occurs in the tension span between early adopters - and mass engagement - Canada is entering this space now.
Good Luck Canada!
Oh yes (the initiative in Dallas - where Dallas Stars is driving Floorball into schools? - well - we hope you know that Dallas Stars is being owned by... a Canadian)

If we should sort this post in under the comedy tab, the disaster tab or the irony tab? We do not know - You tell us.
Hockey kids in the USA - in your clothes, our recommendation is: start to monitor what in the world is going on in Canada instead... as they are developing things with progress up north...

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
