Let's Play Hockey - at

"- The Expo was a great success for floorball. We used two smaller floorball rinks that the Expo visitors could utilise and held a floorball tournament for the regional youth hockey players, Jukka Kotti, one of the organisers representing FloorballPlanet, informs."

What is excluded from this story is that one of Floorball's original inventors Mr. Phil Carlson also visited this event and Floorballplanets booth...

Mr. Dough Johnson is the main organizer of this event and
Mr. Phil Carlson is one of the men that first invented what would become Floorball.
These men met for the first time in Minneapolis earlier this year.
Phil to the right in the picture above was cousin to Mr. Clinton V. Carlson that first invented and patented the ball used in Floorball. Phil himself was also one of the men that first developed sticks in plastics and several of the rules we know today - as Floorball rules.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
