Featured at Floorball to the Olympics

Ok... This will just be a long caption...
This picture is from the 2014 Midwest Floorball Championship and it is Ms. Alyssa James, a British citizen  with Scottish Floorball experience chewing away on the Intermediate Cup...  She did not win that Cup as she played in the Advanced group - but wow how she played. To be honest - my experience of British Floorball is close to zero and I have not seen too many great International British games either - but We tell you Ms. Alyssa is a solid player with a game that is intuitively played in ways that takes her to where she is supposed to be way before the ball even goes in that direction - and yes she did indeed score at least one bout on one of the top teams. If we are not wrong Alyssa is headed for Houston and she will be a great addition to that group down there and in case she gets a US passport - well the National US team should not be impossible...
Whatta bout the other Cups in the picture? Well the left one is the main in the Advanced division - its been around for four years it is beaten up and.. will be upgraded for next year in some fancy mode... The Middle one is the Intermediate division and the small one to the right was new for this year as we for the first time ever crowned a recreational championship team...
The Picture?
We do not know who took it but is just danced up at the Floorball to the Olympics Facebook page and - we stole it right away - dunno who to credit for it... But this was indeed taken on a floorball frontier in Tomah Wi last weekend -

Good going!

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
