Repeat and Rewind on Korea


Korea is considered to have one of the worlds best performing school systems.

This Pisa report points out Korea as the best performing larger country after some smaller regions in Asia.

Today IFF highlights the growth of Floorball in the Korean education system with a quote from Mr. Kim;

"- We have the aim to make floorball the number one sport in schools until 2033. And this is not unrealistic when you have a look at our current development, Mr. Hwang Joo Kim, the Secretary General of the KFF, explained."

Yes, Singapore is another place where school performance is top in the world - and how much Floorball they have over there - you probably already know if you follow twitter for instance ;-)

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
