Our thesis is simple

We say that as it comes to male Hockey - Sweden and Finland are over-represented in terms of performance as you take their relative size of both these hockey operations and look at performance.

We also say that #LTAD is indeed good and that for instance different sports may help young hockey players advance as athletes.

What we also want to make 100% waterproof clear - is that young players in Sweden and Finland, They do not play Lacrosse, Softball or Baseball to improve themselves.

Common additional sports for young athletes in north Europe are Soccer and Floorball.

Floorball stands out in this perspective since it is a lightning fast stick sport - not to be confused with a bat or a stake sport.
Floorball stands out since the penetration is schools - well, it is massive.

We say most hockey operations in North America would benefit as it comes to their own player developments - if they would realize these highly simple connections.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
