Kids in Tomah for Peace and Sport

The United Nations and the International Floorball Federation (IFF) supported the International Day for Peace and Sport April 6th.
Well, many many others supported this too.

This is Carl-Oskar, Mason, Eric, Willie, Katie and Halley in Tomah - that celebrate Peace and Sport showing a white card. As we play rec Floorball for kids we never know how many kids that will show - two weeks ago we had 20 players but Yesterday we had a skeleton crew of 5.

We post this here since we think we were the only Floorball group in Americas doing the white card yesterday. We post this here since this our Tweet with this image - was re-tweeted by the International Floorball Federation. We think this action of both the kids and the Federation is well worth to be high-lighted on this blog.

Thank You Future and Current Adults!

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
