India Rocks their school system with #Floorball too

Great News via IFF - on how India takes the lead in the implementation of Floorball ahead of many many many many many many (this post would be too boring if we listed them all) other countries.

the IFF writes -  and we quote away...

"The Indian Floorball Federation has achieved an important milestone when floorball was included as one of the sports in the 59th National School Games.

This happened in 59th National School Games which were held at Rajnandgaon Chhattisgarh, India, January 11th - 13th 2014, Both Under 19 boys and under 19 girls categories were included."

Our comment? Yes, well if you happen to see this and you just happen to work with any nations PE policy at any level at all - and yes, parents are very important too.
And you now do not know what Floorball is? From our perspective - we tell you - there is a mission for you - do not ask what others will do for you - instead go figure what you can do for others - not to get last in this global race ;-D

Hint - India is not a little tiny spot on the map...

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
