As always beginnings are humble...

Dallas Fireballs reports they are starting a test Floorball League Feb 22 - well that is in just a few days... We wish Tomah could do that too - lets see if we get a bunch of players emerge - why not another hot league?

This is what Mr. Jukka Kotti say from Dallas..

"We will start with 3 teams on Feb 22.
League schedule will be formalized in a meeting that needs to happen pretty soon.. I am envisioning we will play every three months with this setup. This may change as we see fit. Meeting will take place between team captains, me, Mr. David Freedman and Mr. Kim Aaltonen (kudos to Kim for taking role in this!!)"

Floorballcentral wish them all the good luck in the world (sounds like they possibly have a fourth team on its way in too).

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
