Yup,
A Twitter Party is often defined as a planned for event where a few knowledgeable people lead a discussion on a specific subject - and anyone interested chime in to ask questions or just to ventilate some opinions. But there is the other form of more spontaneous Twitter parties too where a discussion just erupt on a topic.

Yesterday the world's first such discussion erupted on the subject of Floorball. It was amazing. Suddenly in real time the microblogging site was running hot with tweets on Floorball. And it was not just empty tweets left unanswered into the digital eternity.
No this was a real discussion with passion, in real time and it instantly connected people via USA, Canada, Finland, Germany, and France. Of course as a discussion, the love, the insights, the feelings and everything else had to follow the twitter format.
But you know what Floorballcentral thinks this was a large breakthrough for Floorball and we hope to see more of these twitter parties in the future - either pre organized or just spontaneous as yesterday.
This is new, this is democracy this is Floorball and you know what - with parties like these so many more new people will have the potential to discover Floorball.
Thanks to all involved - even if you so just read one tweet.

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
