Floorball on Wheels 2013 - Paralympics next?

Swedish Tv just made this stunt on the Swedish team that won the Breda games with 34 scores forward and 2 backwards. This is serious elite sports and they are not shy - Paralymics is the goal.. First a European Wheelchair championship and then a Worlds...

And from Holland we learn that they just have started a real Floorball wheelchair league and our dear friend Shiraz Bandhoe sent us this:
"A Little update. Yesterday we started a new pilot of the WFHL. Wheelchair Floorball Hockey League.
In Holland we play our own Dutch wheelchair hockey league since 1974.
In 2010 the Dutch played the international wheelchair floorball for the first time. After that the Dutch developed very fast.
Yesterday the KNHB (the Dutch National Hockey Association) started a pilot league with international rules on a smaller field."
we also had a link to a facebook page that well cover this in pictures too

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
