Oh, what a Floorball week with the Blue Bird!

First we did not come out on top this week in number of twitter Floorball followers and it seems like the pace of new followers might slow down slightly. But we will continue to actively unfollow all bad accounts - and that includes top clubs or organizations. In our view if they do not follow back - then they are bad. No nonsense as they say at Salming.
Then Twitter went public yesterday and if you followed some of the news - you fast will realize why twitter is superior to facebook and the other social media currently - so if you want to promote Floorball - tweet it baby!
Ha, one of the most important guys in the USA - not just unfollowed us but also blocked us this week from the personal account? We think he must have had fumbled on the keyboard - maybe extra stickhandling using a Floorball stick could help? Nope no names. Oh yes we did not appreciate that so we blocked back too - but lifted our block just a few hours later as we realized that he must have fumbled with the keyboard. Then - a few hours later one of the worlds most important governmental ministers in an area that relates to Floorball followed us - so we became happy again ;-D

And we are right now trying to see if we can not host the world's first Twitter-party for Floorball in a few weeks time. We aim to do this together with an expert friend that dare to say what he thinks - so that might be utterly fun. Hold out we are trying to find a time and a date for this and it will become advertised in serious ways too so you will not miss it - if this happen. We will aim to keep a live Floorball discussion going and probably using the tag #GOFloorball for an hour or so. The idea is that any topic may be discussed and we invite live questions too. Hold out we will be back with the specifics later on as this has been more set in stone.
Do not forget to follow us on twitter - and let us know if you want to participate in a Twitter party in some way - via twitter too - still a bit tentative.... but - Find us @ulfjens floorball

Up this weekend - several things. Tourney in Montreal and in California and then of course the THIRD Floorball demo outside of Dallas Stars home game against Blackhawks tomorrow...

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
