Dallas Stars - makes a hat-trick with Floorball

Yup, this Saturday - Again - outside the American Airline Center - at the game Stars vs. Blackhawks (oh that team is almost from our backyard) - for the third time now i.e a hat-trick.
The Floorball rink goes up and... Na, no enough speculations here - we checked in with Floorballplanet one of the participants (together with Dallas Fireballs Floorball Club) as Floorball goes on its NHL mission.
This is what the boys at Floorballplanet told us:

“It is time for the next Floorball Demo at the American Airlines Center before the NHL game between the Dallas Stars and Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on this Saturday. We are expecting a very large number of ice hockey fans to see and play Floorball before the evening game.  The FloorballPlanet team will set up a real Floorball rink at AT&T Plaza with regulation size goals. With two Floorball goalies, players will have the opportunity to get a very realistic game experience.
In previous demos, some of the junior players with ice hockey background have been really good at Floorball. Their stickhandling skills were on display for all to see.  Overall, we have seen really high level Floorball play in our demos.   In a perfect world, we could easily gather a competitive U16 team from Floorball demo players and, with some practice, do very well even on an international level.”

We here say wow. We have also been stressing some friends down south to try to film this thingy. Let's see if that works. Then it is cool to know that the Blackhawks have a number players in their top team with extensive Floorball schooling..(no nationalities mentioned ok)
How the game will end? 4-3 to Dallas, that will surprise Chicago...
But the real winner this day is Floorball - at least to us here...

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
