More on the USA Hockey Floorball stick from Salming

As we are doing our best to dig out more information on the USA Hockey branded Floorball stick we just want to share and recap own a bit upon Canada - since they now have had a Hockey Canada branded Floorball stick available up there since 2011.

In Canada many Hockey skills Academies picked up Floorball as a tool for off-ice training about a decade ago. Since the Hockey Canada stick was introduced we know that this stick turned into a Floorball bestseller up north.
We also know that many serious Hockey Academies and Ice Hockey camps in Canada use Floorball - Roger Neilson's, is just one of many, a  n  d   - Of course the Hockey Canada stick is most commonly used by hockey players.

After the Hockey Canada Floorball stick was introduced - it took like a year until Hockey Canada started and announced an active program to get Floorball into schools across Canada.

Of course we ourselves here at floorballcentral envision a similar development in the USA.

But instead of running away and speculate too much - we will try to get some questions answered and post it all here.
So if you want to know more stay tuned - we are diggin'.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
