Floorball on the Jumbotron in Dallas

The first reports from the Floorball demo outside of Saturdays NHL game between Dallas and Washington just came in.
Apparently the demo was picked up by a camera and bits and pieces were casted up on the big Jumbotron over the ice inside. Floorball players from both the Stars and the Capitals camps were overly excited and someone mentioned a little buzz about Floorball inside of the American Airline Center.

Everyone enjoyed playing and watching floorball and people were talking about it even inside the AAC arena. We like that ;-)

Due to rainy skies the demo crew had to pack up slightly early - and the rain came pouring down with force. This was the first Floorball demo outside of a NHL game and the crew from Floorballplanet have some ideas to even yet further tweak this activity.
Because they plan to come back and do this several times - and that will be soon.

Next time is Friday November 1st (5pm - 7pm)!
As we mentioned yesterday the Dallas Stars is now our own fav NHL team.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
