Dallas Stars to set the pace

It has been just posted at the Dallas Fireballs Floorball page that they plan a series of Floorball exhibits at the American Airline center.
It starts this Saturday and as they expose kids of all ages to Floorball it is stated that the Dallas Stars themselves will bring out speed shooting equipment too.
It would not surprise us here if we will see some big name hockey players trying to speed shoot with a Floorball stick too. So if you go bring on a camera of some kind so this can run rampant on social media.
This is further not only a one time stunt - it will be several exhibitions like these.

For the sake of Floorball in US schools and the strive by the USA Hockey ADM unit to have young hockey players to try on a variety of sports - let's hope this kind of Floorball exposure spread to other big Ice Hockey events too - not only related to the NHL.

Good work - you guys in TX - the worlds largest state (at least for now).

This is the official word from Dallas Fireballs:

"First of many.. FLOORBALL DEMO at American Airlines Center, this Saturday. Official event starts at 5pm and ends by 7pm. Volunteers, please arrive at AT&T PLAZA no later than 4 PM.
We will set up a rink for games plus have floorball related materials available for hockey fans going to the evening game. Let's make everyone aware of floorball!!!
Dallas Stars will bring a slap shot cage with radar.. see how fast (or slow) you can shoot floorball!!

LETS DO THIS!!"

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
