Wrap up the Weekend

Wow, the biggest thing this weekend is of course that the USA Hockey for the first time shows some Floorball sticks - problem is that their article is focused on - let us say the article focus - is our problem here.

Then the activity from New York is outstanding, We understand that they have a floorball zorro movie coming up, two national Latvian players engaged and a Swedish Zorro king in for the US Nationals.
Floorballcentral has a long time wondered what country out of the big four - will help the USA to get going - maybe we have been wrong - maybe it is a country like Latvia that will be best and most able to help the USA?
And a Tweet from wonders if Peter Forsberg is in New York to promote Floorball - but that is all we know.. lol

From Sweden we hear that two players started to play Floorball with golf gloves on - we think that must be a joke - or at not least serious... but we do not know.

From Tomah, well the first night of the season broke all our expectations (normally it is slow at first). Tonight the Green Bay Packers made their premiere too and TV game nights are normally not as crowded for Floorball - But the Floorball court in Tomah was tonight more crowded than ever - as to be the premiere night... - some 20+ people engaged in two sessions.
Let us hope that this builds into momentum and that we rather fast can drive this into a league too.

This is a great article from Mr. Troy that explains the status of male national US Floorball...

This is both a decorative thing and advertising, you dudes and dudettes

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
