Scam artists flirting - with Floorball?

No it is not a cheerful thing to be addressed by a scam artist...

Let us just share some specifics about this trivial "nigeria style approach" we just encountered.

A) The listed sender (most likely a hi-jacked email) came from a Swedish school just a pebble toss away from the office of the Swedish Floorball Federation, ok You must be able to toss the pebble a few miles, but still.
B) The domain name for the email that they want us to write to was xxxx@rogers.com. Yes that is the same domain as send much of the TV from Canadas Cup, you have maybe heard about Rogers TV?
Therefore we think that the individuals have both Swedish and Canadian connections... If connected to Floorball? we do not know... but the little we know - it looks like some sort of odd coincidence.

This is what we had sent to our mailbox:
My wife Violet and I Allen Large won 11.3M USD in a lottery 6-49 in July, 2010 and we have decided to donate the sum of 2MUSD to you. Contact us via our personal email for more details (XXXXX@rogers.com)

This is bad we think, but still - it is nice to be recognized, even if from scum, ehh next time we hope Bill Gates sends us a mail instead and asking to give away 20MUSD - it would become a heck of Floorball rinks in the USA ;-)

Here is the sad revelation behind this email:

we Do not understand why some people try old tricks? But hey stay alert.

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
