2013 Midwest Floorball Championship, rec division, one full semifinal

Frontier Floorball means; no boards, games are played 4 on 4, refs that are as inexperienced as a ref may be - goalies with garden gloves and hockey helmets, then the audience - well they sit on this side and not on the other side - well - well - but we do at least try to play Floorball - and some are better than others - and all have fun.

This is the full game from one semifinal between the Tomah Patriot team versus Minneapolis 612.
From the Rec Division. Enjoy.

For 2014, The plans is to Play the MFC for two days April 12 and 13th.
Right now we contemplate about more categories, like a ladies, a highschool (we have a few high schools up playing in Wisconsin) and maybe an intermediate... let's see.
We hope for closer to 20 teams next year if everything goes as expected, lol.

Next up - we will share the final from 2013 in both the Rec Division as well as in the Advanced Division too, stay tuned.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
