Things that build sport culture, a flash mob anyone?

We are pleased to quote more from the IFF...

"The World’s longest floorball marathon is a charity event held in Lappeenranta, Finland 12-13 of July 2103.
It is an official attempt to break the current Guinness World Record floorball match of 25 hours and 13 minutes.

All of the proceeds will go to Etelä-Karjalan perhetyön kehittämisyhdistys ry – a non-profit organisation helping families and children in need. The goal is to collect 10000€ for charity."

But hey there are more fun stuff to read:
"Players participating are from recreational teams as well as Finland’s national team with an addition of one player from women’s NST team. One player from the USA national team is also flying to Finland to play all the way from San Francisco."

And what about Floorball FLASH MOBS?
"A floorball flash mob, in which players randomly and without a notice show up to play floorball, was held at the same marketplace in a rink build for the occasion. A lot of people, especially children were very interested of the event; not only because of the free candy but because of the energetic atmosphere around the rink and the excitement and fascination of the long lasting floorball game."

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
