The latest from Nova Scotia

Here is a re-post from Canada...
Good stuff.. we will take this out if copyright or other interests ate being infringed...

Floorball Nova Scotia is looking for players, coaches, referees and corporate partners to launch leagues throughout Nova Scotia.

Be part of a national EMERGING sport that is safe, fast, low cost and FUN!

Within Canada there is a HUGE opportunity for growth in the sport which opens the doors for players, coaches & officials to reach national or international championships.

For corporations, ground floor partnerships with floorball represents an early opportunity to be associated with a sport that is rapidly expanding in Canada and relatively 'UNsponsored'. Securing an early sponsorship position can have long lasting benefits and rewards.

Joint ventures with Hockey Canada, in bringing floorball to elementary schools across Canada, can only prove to have a positive effect on floorball resulting in the sport being played in more & more communities, hockey associations, clubs and schools/universities throughout the province/ Canada.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
