Olympic News aka New IOC President 2013

Six candidates will compete in the election for the presidency of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at the 125th IOC Session on 10 September 2013 in Buenos Aires.

The six – Thomas Bach, Sergey BubkaRichard CarriĆ³n, Ser Miang Ng, Denis Oswald, and Ching-Kuo Wu – officially announced their candidacies by the deadline of midnight on 6 June.

John Liljelund , IFF secretary general comments...

"- For Floorball the election of the new IOC President will play a great role, since the IOC President is the one leading the process of how the Olympic Games are developed and how new sports or disciplines are included in the future. Of the candidates Mr. Bach (GER), Mr. Bubka (UKR), Mr. Ng (SIN) and Mr. Oswald are all from countries with an active floorball association, so the election of one of these could be good for the IFF ."

what we think? hmm.
Four out of six is not bad, its 2/3 chance for a future sport we like, in the IOC Presidents "hometown".
We here think Bubka will win since he is the poster man. Marketing kinda works like that.. And he is probably not the strongest Floorball singer in this group - but if he tries it at home - anything might happen - we say anything.
Our own vote goes to Mr Ng (go Asia go) or Mr. Oswald - Switzerland BABY! where Floorball is bread and butter...

IFF's original post looks like this

This clip we post only for Sergey Bubka

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
