The humble man in Houston, TX

“In Finland, where the population is little over 5 million, floorball is the third largest sport, right after soccer and hockey. It is a multi million dollar business,” Koivisto said. “I would like [the local community] to come and follow the evolving story of floorball from a sport that no one knew about into mainstream.”
"Koivisto said that in a matter of weeks, 70 people have already expressed interest in playing with the FC Houston, which currently practices once a week at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Eagle Springs. The club, still in its start-up phase, does not charge a membership fee at this time."

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
