Banned sticks in BC?

Wow this story is outrageous...
lets put two things together,,,
A) Hockey Canada promotes Floorball and has programs in place to get it into Canadian public schools, good...
B) If we understand this right some guru has decided to ban Floorball sticks at street hockey events in BC - well good morning Dr. Watson?

Let us quote BC Floorball:
"This will surely become a true classic moment in the development of indoor/outdoor hockey in Canada, and a fun debate point :-), as Floorball gains more awareness on the Canadian scene."

Above the banned stick, we guess - since it was too good - wow this is not true lol

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
