2013 MFC less than two weeks

D Moser will be our DJ
We have 11 secured teams in, we have 8-9 people that will ref, so we will have two refs for all games, all nets will be regulation IFF certified nets, we play with accommodated kind of boards, 4 on 4 with goalies on two courts simultaneously.

We will have the concessions taken care of by professionals,  so no carry ins allowed.

There will be a national anthem and we plan to start tentatively around 10 am.

A stick store and a some sort of raffle ticket thing might be in the works too. We still need more baskets for such an activity.

Mr, Andrus will take care of payments/sign in at the door. You will recognize him from previous years...

Final game brackets, EXACT times for a ref meeting and a team captain meeting to be announced at the end of this week. Games should be up at 11 AM.

Econolodge also stepped up as a sponsor - Hm we have a free night in one room at that hotel and first team interested - and in need please let us know... It is better we use it now as compared as a gift after the tourney right?

We are still trying to get one more team in, - pulling some strings..

Saturday April 13th is the big day when 3 teams from MN, 1 team from IL, 1 from Wausau WI and 6-7 teams from Tomah, WI - for the first time will decide who is best in the US Midwest as it comes to...
(earlier years we have played the Tomah Open - dominated by IL and MN, WI has one title too thanks to Horicon, WI).

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
