Floor - ball, no not Floor-Ball either

Spelling is hard, just ask us here..

But the sport is to be spelled Floorball. But guess what.. we have been playing around with a little funky ad from Google that we have up in the right corner. Ha, it gets obvious that, wow, often we have ads up for different types of Floors or Floor-products.
That is cool, since from one viewpoint one could say that it is just a little funky digital coincidence. However if we stretch that to the more global scene... well it connects a very well defined product category (FLOORS) with a spankin' new fresh sport.
If we would work with floors ourselves we would most likely try to put the world under our feet or something - since floors are perhaps not the most sexy and fun thing to work with, or maybe it is - and we are just a bit ignorant?

The main conclusion here - that we make - it seems like a connection that could work for a good deal between Floorball and companies in the flooring industry. As sponsors we mean.

Since we now post this post, full of the word floor in many versions, we can almost promise that you will see advertising for floor products up in our right corner. Or maybe this is a story about - how "man still may beat the computer"?

Yes, Floorball already have some large sponsors from the Floor industry like Gerfloor and a few more..
But you know what - if you truly look at the Floor business there are thousands of brands and companies out there that would be suitable for a better corporation with the sport Floorball. Floors are big big business.

Should not every each and one Floorball club have their own floor sponsor agreement with their own Floor company? Little or gigantic?

No, we still do not like the name Floorball since it does not describe the sport very well - but as a function for connecting the sport with floors for sponsor purposes - well it seems to work rather well - at least online.

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
