Mr. Oliver Stoll - listen to him - he knows what he talks about!

Mr. Oliver Stoll is
President of the German Floorball Federation and a member of the Central Board of the International Floorball Federation - IFF

This is what he say as the news that wrestling is on its way out as an Olympic sport:

" The IOC Executive Board (EB), revealed the decision yesterday that it has no problem with removing traditional sports like wrestling from the Olympic program.
With the addition of new sports, must be some traditional removed from the program and hereby show the IOC that it is very aware Indirect emphasizes this approach and hope that thereby our sport, in fact, have a chance to be a part of the Olympic program in the future "

We also pick up that one reason that wrestling is out is a set of rules that is so hard that they verge on the border to be incomprehensable - so keep Floorball is it is - simple and clean..

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
