Ladies first;
Emilie Lindstrom has been elected as the World's best Floorball player yesterday by several Floorball outlets.
She plays normally in Stockholm and was elected to this special award for the second time.

Mika Kohonen was elected for the 5th time (4 times in a row) as the Worlds best Male Floorball player...

This man has therefore been elected to this remarkable reward -incomparable more times, than any other player, and he is therefore Floorball's first living legend (OK, we have a few more legends - but they do not always still play Floorball at top speed).

Mika is also one of the ambassadors for Special Olympics Floorball  - that means he is one of the world's top notch Floorball athletes - promoting his own sport for players with Special needs.

Mika wins this 2013 award at the age of 36, and is a bit surprised of the nomination according to the news, and hey this is probably the most amazing things of them all - Mika started to play Floorball at the age of 18....and...
Yes, Happee is his "Mother Club".

We here, say one thing - this man rocks!

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
