Quick notes from Wisconsin, Tomah

Three things:
- First, we have one of our players - that for a long time used our "loaner" sticks - well over the X-mas he got a new personal Salming Matrix stick and in the next game - what happens - well he did at least one hat trick last session and went on scoring like crazy.. So if you also plan to ditch the idea of being with loaner sticks -and want to have your own stick to move up one level in your game - we still have a bunch both at our store here on this page "Twigs to Grab". Or we can bring selected new sticks to the practice too.

- Second, we just want to mention that we had a nice influx of visitors from IL last weekend and it is always nice to play with people from far away - also remarkable was that we had almost 50% females at our last session. Go girls go!

- Third, for the 2013 Midwestern Floorball Championship that we plan to host in Tomah April 13th (so if you do not play in the Swedish Floorball final the same day you might want to consider to go to Tomah instead ;D).. Well, we have started to make inquiries to see if we could pull off a Floorball reffing clinic as a separate activity connected to the tourney. If this becomes a possibility it will be Mr. Buvarp from Colorado and the USAfB that will try to put this thing together... Let's see how this will develop.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
