The latest on Team Canada and Team USA

Today, just before team USA tomorrow play against Latvia in the World Floorball Championships, - Latvia ranked as the 5th nation in the World right now - the team has relaxed with some NHL 13 and the betting odds are.. well a though read for team USA, ranked as team 15 in the world.

Other reports indicate that USA most likely are aiming for a win over Japan - something that goes in line with our own speculations.

Another article talks about Team Canada. It sounds like their attitude is a bit more aggressive and that they aim to take points from either Russia or Germany and that they have some Hockey and Street Hockey players that might surprise. This however will not change what we think. We still think Canada's group is a bit too hard for them - but it would be wonderful if they could surprise us'. So this will most likely not be the year when Canada ends up ahead of the USA in the World Floorball Championships - but that day could come...

What is more noteworthy is that the former Finish double Gold Coach Mr. Nykky now coach the Swiss team - and there is no doubt that they aim for Gold, stating this in Swiss media - and with home advantage maybe they can (even if we here think Sweden still is too strong and no one may count Finland out either) - so this thing will be utterly interesting..

GO BOTH TEAM USA AND TEAM CANADA GO - we will cheer for both of you out here...

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
