The latest from Team Canada, via IFF

Let us just quote
"- Our tactic was to start with two line-ups. Russia was one of our main opponents and we were really trying to beat them, says Lauri Hannelius, Canada´s captain who also scored one goal from a penalty shot.
- We lifted up the fore checking in the 3rd period, which created more situations, opened up the game and gave us more chances to score.
The players in team Canada play in different countries from Canada to Sweden, Switzerland and Finland, and haven´t been together more than a week. - We met last Tuesday, had two practice sessions, two practice games, which doesn´t give the team the optimal start for any tournament. But the team spirit is great and we enjoy each others company, Hannelius continues.
Canada´s next game is against Germany, which is ranked right after Russia.
- The level is probably the same and the game is most likely going to be as tough, but I have a great confidence on the team"

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
