Hrm, hrm, how to use the full potential?

So many writers and folks of better understanding have already written comments upon the Floorball played during the WFC 2012. Well, we might toss in some comments in this respect too - later on-  but first we want to talk about something else - the Intermissions between the periods.

What? Yes, you heard us right - the Intermissions.

First the show put on the before for instance the final, the presentations of players, the warming up of the audience etc is "top notch fireworks style produced material", not only in the finals but in many games from the WFC 2012 the introductions shine - using fireworks or not. Good work. Also the wrap up is oustanding.
Let's just once again say that we noticed that the guy warming up the audience at some earlier games was just superb too.
Then on top of all that the Special Olympics Floorball and the EWH Floorball played during the semi finals as exhibition activities - is out of this world.
Can't be better if you ask us.
Seriously good and Hopp Hopp Hopp Swich here we go too!!!

But, and here comes the big Butt,
Basic low level Baseball leagues in the USA have a long time ago figured out on how to both integrate sponsors and the audience with several activities during intermissions... There you find funny games, spoofs and activities that tie the sponsors to the audience.
During most YouTube transmissions from the WFC online, a dead sign was tossed up with the score and that made it - look like a black and white TV from 1981 or something.
This is an area that must be developed for the future. The sponsors need bang for their bucks. An "activity product" that involves both sponsors to big events like an WFC and as well the audience, either the live audience or the online audience must be implemented. Or just toss up some advertising from the sponsors for heavens sake?
So who is doing this first? If Floorballcentral was a sponsor we would demand this - well now we are not - so we may not demand this (beside of here lol) -
The audience is already there - We suspect we saw that the IFF got some additional 2-300.000 hits during the WFC games on their Youtube channel (NB this might be wrong - we do not have a reliable source for this, but we think it started out at roughly a million hits before the games and today they are at 1.300.000 hits something).

Please do something about the BIG intermissions from here on... Use them to sell the sport of Floorball and its sponsors please. This include game posted online afterwards - ad advertising or cut the intermissions out. Can't be that hard? And this goes for all big tourneys (including U19 - Germany ;-))

Just to make the most important comment of them all.
The way the IFF share games online  is extraordinary - both live and as available afterwords at Youtube. We therefore thank the people doing this from the deepest of our very Floorball heart. This is the very best they do we think.
Oh heck yeah, almost forgot, we have ideas on how to improve that too - but we hope to be back on that soon,

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
