The Vancouver Open Floorball Experience (VOFE)
We are proud to bring you a mult-part event that will provide many levels of Floorball infotainment through various levels of competition, workshops and clinics across many age groups.
Our Host Hotel is the Marriott YVR and our Host Facility is the Richmond Olympic Oval
PART 1 – Get Certified as a Floorball Coach & Referee $99
VOFE opens with an elite Floorball showcase and coaching seminar on Tuesday August 7th.  2 hours of IFF education in the morning will be followed by 2 hours of practical training in the afternoon.  lunch is included.
The Coaching Seminars will be lead by the IFF Floorball Canada and the Men’s National Team Coach- David Jansson.
PART 2 – Meet Team Canada and watch them play the Swedes Free
The Men’s National team of Canada will holding their training camp on Wednesday August 8th and Thursday August 9th, exhibition matches against the Swedish Floorball Academy will be open to the public on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm and Thursday evening at 7:00pm
PART 3 – Get in the Game! The Tournament begins
The Vancouver Open Floorball tournament will have 2 adult divisions- elite and  intermediate as well as three different youth divisions.  Play will commence on Friday August 10th and finish on Saturday August 11th.

Caution

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.

Also if you get addicted to this sport - do not blame us!
