First Floorball at University in Wisconsin

Saturday November 19th at 1 PM in Mitchell Hall 114 the very first demonstration of Floorball will take place at a University in Lacrosse Wisconsin. This is an event organized by the  International Students office at the University. Floorballcentral and Floorballplanet are hosting this event. We will offer an instructional briefing on rules and safety before we start to play as much Floorball as possible,  after roughly two hours we will have a de-breif to discuss if Floorball have an imminent future in relation to the campus.
Anyone is welcome to participate in this free event. Rumor has it that there is a few students that have Floorball experience - so this might become very exciting.

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
