Comments on the Floorball expansion and Jamaica

Mr. Thomas Eriksson, head at the IFF, just published a speech on the IFF homepage.
Among many good things he say I think one thing stands out, so let us quote - " The growth of licensed players has by international standards been tremendous, increasing with 10% annually in the countries that joined IFF in the last 5-10 years. The growth in for example Poland and Czech Republic is amazing, of which you all should be proud of."
I suspect, within many other sports, they would have a serious hard time to get even or close to these numbers?

Other important New is of course that Jamaica now is the 54th member of IFF and that Ukraine gained full membership.
We must recommend the IFF pages, since we sometimes have a hard time to keep up with all the good news that comes from this source,

Research suggest that eye-injuries are more common in Floorball as compared to Tennis, but less common as compared to Squash (similar to Racquetball).
To minimize this risk of injury Floorballcentral recommend: Use certified protective eye-wear (mandated in many European areas for the youth). Do not lay down on the court. Follow the rules strict on stick height.
